After their overwhelming home debut last week, the boys were back in action in the Andersen League. For the first time this season our team faced the young team of Jászberény, Lehel HC.
The long journey did not break our players, in fact! Our team captain, Matyi Odnoga scored the leading goal in the first five minutes.
The first forty minutes of the game were rich in exhibitions, with tempers boiling on the ice. Neither team was able to take advantage of the man advantage situations in this encounter, and no goal was scored from this formation. We had to wait until the last couple of minutes of the middle period for the next goal, and with Nagy’ s goal we could increase our lead to 2 and go into the break before the last half.
The 3. The first goal of the third period also came from Győr, Taródi Dániel scored, and then shortly before the end the home team managed to score a goal(Fedorin). Minutes later the answer was not missed, Richárd Horváth set the final score 1:4 for our team.
