In the first match of the Andersen League semi-final we didn’t manage to make our debut with a win, so we travelled to Dunaújváros on Saturday with the knowledge that we would have a clean sheet in case of a win and an almost impossible mission in case of a loss.

The opponent was also aware of this fact, and they came to the ice with a huge drive, hungry for success. In the first period we were fortunate to hold the attacks and even took the lead through Márk Almási.

In the second half of the game very early, already in the 3rd minute. The equalizer(Jobb) came in the 15th minute and again the team from Dunaújváros had a lot of shots on goal, but Martin Szeles stood his ground and a few minutes before the break Almási scored again, so we were again in the lead going into the 15-minute break.

The last period started in a similar way as the previous one, with Hamvai scoring the equalizer, but we managed to take back the lead in the first half of the period with a goal from Nagy Márk. No more goals were scored until the end, so two minutes before the break the visitors called for a time-out, but they could not get the equalizer, with Almási scoring 3 with 2 seconds left. in the match, setting the final score.

It was a very important win, and it was a great pleasure to convert 75% of the man advantages we had been poorly exploiting so far this season into goals! Go UNI GYŐR ETO
