Successful first step towards the last 4!

On Wednesday, the Andersen League playoffs started for us as well, our first match – up to two games – was against Lehel HC from Jászberény, which we started at home.

Both teams came into the first period with a lot of energy, but neither side could do more than miss chances.

In the second half of the game we managed to change tactics and speed, which was reflected in the number and percentage of shots on goal (20:6!). There was no question about the result, in the first half of the game Bence Marth and Márk Nagy, and after a timeout Ian Tiasin also scored for the crowd.

The last period was more evenly matched, but there was no question which team would come off the ice victorious, with Bence Makovics and Richárd Horváth scoring in the last 10 minutes to set the final score. Martin Szeles ended the game with ashutout!

We started the play-offs with a confident game, which is fitting for the winner of the regular season, the next meeting will be on 21.02.02 in Jászberény, where we can decide the qualification!
