We managed to take back the lead in Dunaújváros, so we could start the next home game with a clean sheet, feeling the weight of the match.

In the first period it was obvious that the boys came out hungry for a win, we managed to play the technical, dynamic hockey that has proven itself many times. It was the same this time, 10 minutes had not passed, Bence Makovics scored twice, we could go to the break confident, no more goals were scored.

In the second period, the team from Dunaújváros came out with a different attitude, they tried to break the game, as a result we had a great opportunity right at the beginning of the period, due to penalties we could attack 5v3 for a good minute and a half, but we failed to take advantage of the situation, which was sorely missed later. However, our opponent took advantage of our first penalty, Kiss reduced our lead by the end of the period.

The last part of the game started with expositions, but the opponent managed to score a goal in the man advantage(Hamvai), which Makovic could answer a few minutes later, taking the lead again 8 minutes before the end. After that we managed to “get” 3 exposures in a row, which gave the visitors a great opportunity, and after a timeout they could take advantage(Gebei). At the end of normal time we had the same opportunity (for the second time), we could attack again in 5v3, but we couldn’t close the game…

In the extra time we attacked the Dunaújváros goal fiercely, but the Worm Angels converted their first counterattack into a goal and got the win in less than 2 minutes.

Once again, we let victory slip through our fingers on home soil and failed to take advantage of our opportunities, which will not go unpunished in the playoffs. We are in a very difficult situation, on Saturday we travel to Dunaújváros with the need to win, but we have to fight until the last breath! Go UNI GYŐR ETO
