Our second Andersen League match was again away, again in Dunaújváros, but this time we faced DAB-ASP.
The home team started the first period of the match better, with Marosi scoring the goal to take the lead in the 9th minute. in minutes. 5 minutes later we managed to score the equalizer from a man down through Nagy Márk, the result remained the same despite our field advantage in this part of the game (1-1).
The second period brought an even, exciting fight, DAB “came in” with a quick goal in the first minute (Strenk), but fortunately the answer was not long in coming, Márk Almási equalized less than a minute and a half later, in the 26th minute. minute and Martin Sipák in the 26th minute. and scored the leading goal in the second minute. In the end of the period Marosi managed to equalize the score, but a minute before the end Márk Almási ensured that we would take the lead into the last half (3-4)
A 3. in the third period our team showed total dominance, 5 times more shots on goal than our opponent resulted in 5 goals (Márk Nagy 3x, Bence Makovics, Filipp Nesterov) ( 3-9)
We saw great fighting spirit and forward thinking play on Saturday, and our goalkeeper Ákos Mészáros is really up to the task, keep it up! Go ETO!
