The last away game of the year was on the second weekend of Advent, when we played as guests of Goodwill Pharma Szeged in Algyő, as the Szeged rink is closed due to the rise in energy prices.
The first 10 minutes of the game were a real nightmare, we couldn’t get into the rhythm of the game, the home team scored 4 goals from 5 shots on goal in this interval. After a goalkeeper change(Szeles ” Mészáros) the game changed a bit, but we couldn’t score from 19 shots on goal in the period. (4-0)
Then the real calvary began, a piece of the rink was torn out of place. Although a lengthy attempt was made to restore the ice, it was finally decided that the ice was unplayable and the game was abandoned.
According to the decision of the tournament tribunal, the match will have to be replayed, the date of which is still to be agreed.
