For the first time this season we faced the South Buda HC team on their home court, at the Nemak Ice Hall on Saturday night.

The first period was dominated by Green and White, but we couldn’t convert our chances into goals, which took its revenge later on.

The second half was a more evenly matched battle, but it started better for us, with goals from our two Russian legends Karpov and Nesterov to give us a 2-0 lead less than 10 minutes before the break. But the Wolves did not give up and in less than 2 minutes Szeredi’ s double cut the deficit.

The last half of the game was also scoreless for a long time, but after a timeout the visitors managed to take advantage of their man advantage and Pálfi found the net . From there we could only run after the result, and in the end we even managed to get a penalty, but neither this nor the empty-goal line-up brought the equalizer, so Wolves could return home victorious.

Next week we host Worm Angels, where the boys will have the chance to improve. Go ETO!
