After a longer break, our team had another away game in the Andersen League, this time as guests of the Sharks from Sportland in the Mátyásföld Ice Hall.

It took only four minutes from the first puck drop for our team captain, Matyi Odnoga, to score the first goal of the game and give us the lead. In the first period, our team was hit by a lot of exhibitions, but despite that Martin Sipák and Márk Koczkás scored in the home goal, so the first 20 minutes ended with a 3 goal lead. (0-3)

Halfway through the middle third, another goal was scored when Márk Almási doubled the score. But with less than a minute to go, the home team’s legionnaire Berthaud scored into Szeles’ goal, but fortunately neither the goal nor the break broke the team’s spirits.(1-5)

In the last part of the game, our young goalkeeper, Ákos Mészáros, protected the net with an outstanding performance. It took seven minutes for another ETO goal, scored by Richárd Horváth, and two minutes later our young talent Norbert Lévai scored.
As the game drew to a close, the atmosphere intensified, and the physical play became more apparent, leading to many sending offs.
Matyi Odnoga was able to add two goals in the last five minutes, so our captain had three goals and three assists in this match.
We saw a great performance from everyone on the ice, as the 9:1 away win shows.
