The second week of the new year was really busy for our team, after two EUHL games (two wins!), on Saturday we played an Andersen League game at Nemak Ice Hall, where we hosted LEHEL HC from Jászberény.
It is slowly becoming a pattern for our team to score quickly at the beginning of matches (sometimes giving, sometimes receiving), and this was the case on Saturday, the spectators had not even managed to settle down before Mark Nagy scored his 10th goal of the season. in the second he has already scored. The rest of the period did not follow the excitement of the first minute, we went into the break with a one goal lead.
The second period almost copied the first, Odnoga Matyi 14. seconds after the start of the game. In the middle of the half Márk Nagy scored a beautiful goal, and 3 seconds before the end he shone again, after a fantastic individual move – muffling the goalkeeper – he scored into the net of Jászberény (our highlighted picture).
The last half brought a more even game, the quick goal came from the visitors’ player(Görbe), but half a minute later the answer came from Filipp Nesterov. 4 minutes later, Mark Nagy was on the 4th goal. in the match, topping the League’s scoring charts! The visitors managed to score again through Görbe before the end, setting the final score at 6:2.
A special mention must go to the fantastic encouragement of the great audience, who turned up in good numbers despite the late start. Thank you!
The boys had a great week, with our victory we moved to the top of the table, ahead of the DAB-ASP and MAC Icons who played more matches! Go UNI GYŐR ETO!
