On Sunday, UNI GYŐR ETO HC played their first game in the Andersen League, the second division ice hockey championship, which has been completely reorganised this year. Their debut took place away against the Worm Angels from Dunaújváros.

Our U21 squad (with a few more experienced players) started the game with a lot of fight and determination, creating several chances, but on this day it was almost impossible to get into Pinczés Bendegúz’ s net. It only happened in the last quarter with a goal by Nagy Márk, but by then the opponent had already taken advantage of the defence’s lapses and took a 3:0 lead. An empty-goal in the last minutes made the final score 4:1.

Unfortunately, the result did not reflect the game, we had almost 10 more shots on goal than our opponent, but we could not convert them today. In the sequel, we hope this will be reversed! Go ETO!
