The EUHL<\/strong> regular season is coming to an end, with a very busy finish for our team: on Thursday-Friday-Saturday there are 3 games for our boys. Last night we played the first game at home against the University Spartacus<\/strong> from Kazan. There was a lot to redeem, a week ago the team from Kassa had got the better of us on the road. <\/p>\n

Accordingly, the boys went out on the ice with great determination, putting the visitors under pressure, which was the result in the second minute: after a minor scramble, Csata Sebesty\u00e9n<\/strong> was able to put the puck into the net. 1-0
\nIn the next 10 minutes, we created several chances, but we failed to finish, which was avenged: first Kassa equalized from a man advantage through Grega<\/em>, then a few minutes later Tomala<\/em> scored the equalizer. 1-2
\nWith only 3 minutes left in the first half, we didn’t give up and managed to turn the score around before the break! First Benedek Mad\u00e1csi<\/strong> scored his 8th goal of the EUHL 24\/25 season, and half a minute later Nikita Bogdanov<\/strong> scored. 3-2 <\/p>\n

In the second period Gy\u0151r continued to dominate the field, but the first goal came from an away goal: Miovkanych’s shot was hit from the back of the net. 3-3
\nAfter the equaliser, however, they could not take the lead again, J\u00e1bor Bendeg\u00faz<\/strong> showed a beautiful solo action, which he closed with a huge bomb halfway through the period. 4-3
\n6 minutes later, Bence Makovics<\/strong> was able to increase the lead with a very routine move: he went behind the goal with the puck, but surprisingly he shot it away, so the puck fell into the net from the back of the goalie who was turning. 5-3 Unfortunately, the goal was overshadowed by an incident, the opponent’s player arrived late and hit our goal scorer on the crossbar after the shot, who was injured and had to be taken to hospital with a bruise. Unfortunately, the referees did not punish this move, only the reaction of Benedek Mad\u00e1csi was punished with a 2-minute suspension.
\nSpartacus could use the man advantage again, Grega<\/em> was the scorer. 5-4
\nBut the whistle for the second intermission had not yet blown, and we took advantage of it, Martin Sip\u00e1k increased our lead to two again with a puck from an almost impossible angle. 6-4 <\/p>\n

The last period almost copied the first, after 2 minutes the name of Sebesty\u00e9n Csata<\/strong> appeared on the scoreboard again.7-4
\nNine minutes from the end we got a – opinionated – 2-minute penalty, and the visitors asked for a timeout. Although there was still nearly half of the period left to play, Spartacus tried an empty-goal lineup to see if they could cut the deficit to 6 against 4. Fortunately, the plan didn’t work, we managed to get the puck and Mark Vas<\/strong> put the puck into the opponent’s net from our own goal line, which decided the game for good. 8-4 <\/p>\n

A week after the defeat in Kassia we managed to get revenge and get 3 important points in the final game of the EUHL regular season.
\nOn Friday we travel to Zsolna, on Saturday we will play another game at home against the top team of the table UMB at 18:00.<\/b><\/p>\n
