With only 3 games left in the Andersen League regular season, the top of the table could not be more evenly matched: before the meeting, LEHEL HC<\/strong>, DAB-ASP<\/strong> and UNI GY\u0150R ETO HC<\/strong> were separated by 1-1 points. In light of this, the Gy\u0151r audience was prepared for a real “6-point” game on Saturday night at the Gy\u0151ri J\u00e9gsport K\u00f6zpont<\/strong>, where we hosted DAB-ASP<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Aggressive attacking after the kick-off is almost becoming our trademark, which we managed to do with the element of surprise: M\u00e1ty\u00e1s Odnoga<\/strong> got the puck and passed it to M\u00e1rk Alm\u00e1si<\/strong> for a shot, which was defended by Valenta<\/em>, but Benedek Mad\u00e1csi<\/strong> came on the rebound and scored our first goal after 8 seconds!(1-0)<\/strong> Never a worse start! It was not long before another home goal, a minute and a half later Bence Makovics<\/strong> let a shot from an impossible angle go, which still found the net of Duna\u00fajv\u00e1ros. (2-0) <\/strong>After that the visitors woke up, after several dangerous situations Azari<\/em> fired a shot from distance into the top left corner from a man advantage. (2-1) <\/strong>With less than 4 minutes to go J\u00e1bor Bendeg\u00faz<\/strong> received a brilliant pass from Makovics and one on one he made no mistake. (3-1) <\/strong>It would have been nice to go into the break with a 2 goal lead, but a minute later after an aggressive puck catch Zorin<\/em> was successful. ( 3-2)<\/strong><\/p>\n

In the second period, we managed to decide the fate of the match, first Odnoga M\u00e1ty\u00e1s<\/strong> showed a beautiful solo action (4-2), then M\u00e1rk Koczk\u00e1s<\/strong> received a great pass from Sip\u00e1k and finished the attack relentlessly. (5-2)<\/strong> The icing on the cake was Majoross Barnab\u00e1s<\/strong>, after a successful party he unleashed a huge bomb from the blue line into the top right corner. (6-2)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Although the game seemed to be “over” by the last quarter, we were not without excitement. In the sixth minute of the period, at a 4:3 stand, Majoross<\/strong> scored his second goal, again from the top right corner. (7-2)<\/strong> Despite this, the visitors did not give up, kept fighting and three minutes later Atamanchuk<\/em> scored after a nice counter attack. (7-3)<\/strong> Eight minutes before the end, D\u00e1niel Cs\u00f6lle<\/strong> joined the list of goalscorers from distance. (8-2), <\/strong>but the visitors still had some powder left in the end, they managed to lead a nice counterattack in a man down, and Udovenko<\/strong> set the final score. (8-4)<\/strong><\/p>\n

It was a very important match, and it could easily have been a win in the regular season. After 18 games we are 2 points ahead of DAB and tied with LEHEL HC. We have a home Worm Angels and a away FTC-Telekom waiting for us, go for it boys!<\/strong><\/p>\n
