We played our first home game on home soil on Saturday, in the Andersen League<\/strong>. We hosted FTC-Telekom<\/strong>, so we were expecting a really fast-paced, goal-rich match, which did not disappoint the fans.<\/p>\n

The match started at a fast pace, just 3 minutes later and D\u00e1niel Tar\u00f3di<\/strong> scored. It wasn’t long before Rich\u00e1rd Horv\u00e1th<\/strong> scored his first goal in the Andersen League a minute later. After that FTC managed to score(M\u00e1t\u00e9<\/em>), but M\u00e1rk Nagy<\/strong> answered a few minutes later.<\/p>\n

The team’s momentum didn’t break after the break, M\u00e1rk Alm\u00e1si <\/strong>doubled, M\u00e1rk Nagy <\/strong>and Rich\u00e1rd Horv\u00e1th<\/strong> scored again and young Norbert L\u00e9vai<\/strong> scored in the second period. With a minute left in the middle of the game, the visitors managed to score a second goal(Kom\u00e1romy<\/em>). We thought that the score would remain 8:2 until the end of the period, but with 40 seconds to go M\u00e1rk Koczk\u00e1s<\/strong> increased our lead.<\/p>\n

The last 20 minutes were also a goal-filled game, but only the visitors found the net. In the first half of the period, Filipp Nesterov<\/strong> scored the tenth ETO goal, and Norbert L\u00e9vai<\/strong> scored 11 a little later. The 12:2 final score was set by M\u00e1rk Nagy<\/strong> for our team, scoring a master triple<\/strong> in the first home game.<\/p>\n

It was a particular pleasure to see the forward-looking play of many home-grown<\/strong> young players, and the increasingly strong team unity and combinative play showed the fans the justification for the Andersen League <\/strong>, a second division championship reorganised from the ground up, in Hungarian hockey life.<\/p>\n
