This Saturday, the boys had a home game for the second time this season, this time against the MAC Icons<\/strong> in the Andersen League <\/strong>, a team with experienced players. It was expected to be a close, evenly matched game, and fortunately we were not disappointed.<\/p>\n

The first period was almost completely uneventful (apart from one minor situation), with the teams visibly trying to exploit the weaknesses and defensive shortcomings of the other side. (0-0)<\/p>\n

Fortunately, the second half was much more lively, and the first goal of the match was scored in the second minute, Norbi L\u00e9vai<\/strong> scored the home goal. Unfortunately, a series of penalties started in this period, and the visitors took their first man advantage, scoring Schm\u00e1l’<\/em> s goal to equalize a few minutes later. 4 minutes before the end we also managed to convert our man advantage into a goal, with Dani Tar\u00f3di’<\/strong> s goal we went into the break with the lead (1-2).<\/p>\n

The first half of the third period was almost uneventful, especially compared to the excitement that followed. The 53. In the second minute, things started to heat up, with Matyi Odnoga<\/strong> scoring first with a brilliant move and then Ricsi Horv\u00e1th<\/strong> taking advantage of a capital defensive error. After Filipp Nesterov’s sending off, the opponent asked for a time-out in the 56th minute. They tried to reduce the 3-goal difference in the second minute and with an empty-goal line-up, but this tactic backfired and Odnoga Matyi<\/strong> scored again.
